You guys did an awesome job with your lesson in class! I loved the standard you both chose — that’s a very fun topic and perfect to chose when presenting to our class. Even though I have never actually read The Help you guys were so bright and fun to listen to that I felt that I wasn’t missing anything. I like that you showed a video – videos keep me interested, and it was also a great way to refresh my memory of seeing the movie. I also liked your use of the Venn Diagram. That is extremely useful when comparing two different categories and finding there differences and similarities. You guys did a great job with giving resources to your student with dyslexia. An audio book is absolutely perfect — it helps the student keep up with the work and give them the opportunity to read but not be helpless.
Also — yay for writing workshop next week! 😉
